Sidmouth Folk Festival is celebrating it's 60th year.

This year will see a special Diamond Anniversary Folk Festival celebration from Friday the 1st of August for one week to the following Friday the 8th.

As the sunshine returns, it's set to look good for the summer and give us a nice dry and pleasant week to enjoy the celebrations around the town! As usual the esplanade will be lined with stalls and dancing and throughout the town there will be performers and music in and around the pubs and shops.

There will also be the major concert tents with a wealth of headliners including Ralph McTell, Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham, Oysterband, Cara Dillon, Steve Knightley, Martin Carthy & Eliza Carthy, Kathryn Tickell & The Side, Chris Wood & Andy Cutting, Yves Lambert Trio, Martin Simpson, Andy Cutting and Nancy and so many more.

a special 'The Way We Were dance' with first festival survivor Les Barclay will be held in Connaught Gardens along with stalls and crafts.
