The Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) organisation are launching a new walkers guide for the 38 mile route covering the East Devon Way. This also includes a business directory promoting food, drink and accommodation as well as activities along the way.
They are looking for East Devon's hidden gems that they may be unaware off but others may well know about and would like to promote them. Here is a list of what they are looking for -
They are also looking for tales of local history, legends, flora and fauna, special places, amazing views and perhaps photos from local people.

The East Devon Way covers 38 miles between Exmouth and Lyme Regis in south east Devon. As well as these larger towns smaller towns are passed through such as Newton Poppleford, Sidbury, Colyton, Uplyme and of course her in Sidmouth. This then links back to the South West Coastal Path at both ends of the route.

On Saturday the 11th of January the Chamber Of Commerce held an awards ceremony to present awards to businesses in the Devon Valley area. The event took place at The Victoria Hotel in Sidmouth to 110 people.
The evening was a huge success with canapés on arrival and a two course meal. A band played throughout the evening with a casino raising money for the Christmas lights fund.
